Welcome to Petit Pierre!

We are family owned French bakery, our dedication to providing carefully crafted fresh baked pastries and desserts is our top priority. All of our products are mixed, made, shaped and baked in house daily. Staying true to French techniques and product, we use the finest French imported ingredients while keeping with the seasonality of the Pacific Northwest.

At Petit Pierre, you’ll find a warm welcoming neighborhood French bakery where you will find a treat for any occasion.

    BONJOUR CAPITOL HILL!

    We are excited to announce that Petit Pierre Bakery is now in Capitol Hill. We’ve partnered with Metier a local bike shop and cafe and are now serving Petit Pierre croissants, pastried, sandwiches, coffee, and wine. Come sit down in our indoor or patio seating areas, get some work done, enjoy bike races on our TV, or have a drink after a long ride. We can’t wait to see you!

    Our flagship store and the heart of our bakery. While our space is limited our production is not! Come see a grand display of croissants on our white marble counters, try beautiful and expertly crafted desserts, and enjoy a wide variety of lunch options. Trust us our Magnolia shop is worth the trip!

    PHINNEY RIDGE

    Our Phinney Ridge location sits at the top of Greenwood Ave. Come see all of our trendy and photo worthy croissants. Since opening customers have flocked to try the viral Croissant Supremes, cruffins, and colored brioche. This store has been featured heavily on social media and online. With seating inside and outside it’s a great place to take the family and enjoy a full service dining experience.

CHEF PIERRE POULIN

Born in Paris, France Chef Pierre Poulin grew up spending his summers with his Grandmother in Brittany, France, where he was first introduced to cooking. At the age of 16, Pierre enrolled in culinary school at L'Ecole de Paris de Metiers de la Table. Pierre's hard work and determination have driven his career to greater heights in every undertaking. In over 2 decades of experience in Michelin restaurants from France to New York, Pierre’s expertise range from sugar and chocolate work, plated desserts and viennoiserie. Still he is always eager to learn about different cultures and new techniques in pastry as well as a passion to teach and share his knowledge. His playful personality balanced with his passion for quality foods that is mindful and well executed, makes his work fun and creative while achieving the highest standards.

CHEF JOANNA CHAU

Joanna was born and raised in Seattle, WA. Growing up in her family’s restaurants, Joanna knew her passion early on.

Joanna went on to receive a degree in Pastry and Specialty Breads from Seattle Culinary Academy. Her dedication to her education and experience led her to working within chocolate companies, bakeries and restaurants throughout Seattle. In 2012, Joanna moved to New York City to pursue her career as a Pastry Chef in some of the country’s best restaurants.

Pierre and Joanna met while working at Aureole NYC. They realize they shared similar lifelong dreams of building their own place where they would be able to share with guests their creativity and love for quality pastries.

They moved back to Seattle, WA to pursue their dreams and soon took on ownership of Petit Pierre December 1st 2020.
