We are family owned French bakery, our dedication to providing carefully crafted fresh baked pastries and desserts is our top priority. All of our products are mixed, made, shaped and baked in house daily. Staying true to French techniques and product, we use the finest French imported ingredients while keeping with the seasonality of the Pacific Northwest.

CHEF PIERRE POULIN

Born in Paris, France Chef Pierre Poulin grew up spending his summers with his Grandmother in Brittany, France, where he was first introduced to cooking. At the age of 16, Pierre enrolled in culinary school at L'Ecole de Paris de Metiers de la Table. Pierre's hard work and determination have driven his career to greater heights in every undertaking. In over 2 decades of experience in Michelin restaurants from France to New York, Pierre’s expertise range from sugar and chocolate work, plated desserts and viennoiserie. Still he is always eager to learn about different cultures and new techniques in pastry as well as a passion to teach and share his knowledge. His playful personality balanced with his passion for quality foods that is mindful and well executed, makes his work fun and creative while achieving the highest standards.

CHEF JOANNA CHAU

Joanna was born and raised in Seattle, WA. Growing up in her family’s restaurants, Joanna knew her passion early on.

Joanna went on to receive a degree in Pastry and Specialty Breads from Seattle Culinary Academy. Her dedication to her education and experience led her to working within chocolate companies, bakeries and restaurants throughout Seattle. In 2012, Joanna moved to New York City to pursue her career as a Pastry Chef in some of the country’s best restaurants.

Pierre and Joanna met while working at Aureole NYC. They realize they shared similar lifelong dreams of building their own place where they would be able to share with guests their creativity and love for quality pastries.

They moved back to Seattle, WA to pursue their dreams and soon took on ownership of Petit Pierre December 1st 2020.
